Big Herringbone Cowl

I'm totally in love with Purl Soho, just like every other crafter on earth, and they are part of the reason we opened Fabric Bliss.  Yes, I'm a stalker.

I fell in LOVE with their Big Herringbone Cowl and needed it ASAP.  OK, so it was posted in January, and here it is October, but I am VERY slow at accounting, and alas, that must come first. Dumb responsibilities.

I used Amy Butler Belle Organic Aran yarn in Slate, and size 15 needles to make it a HAIR smaller (I don't like to be EATEN by my cowls), and it is my new favorite item.

It is SUPER wearable, and I got TONS of compliments on it when I wore it out to the bar!  Then, for the walk home, I just doubled it over for a nice warm trip:

The pattern (linked above) is SUPER easy, and its a great TV watcher pattern, since you just knit and knit and knit.  I will be wearing this all winter, so please prepare to get sick of it.
